Doc’s Wildlife Blends was founded by doctor Timothy Jones, DDS(a private practice dentist in Aurora, Nebraska with a chemistry/health science degree from Wayne State College), and myself Doctor Kenneth Vettel, MD, (a board certified family physician in private practice in Grand Island, Nebraska with a chemistry degree from UNL, and a petroleum lab specialty degree from the U.S. Army). Doctor Michael Jones, DDS (a dentist with a Masters Degree in biochemistry and ruminant nutrition), and Tyler Vettel (a medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a live science degree) were additionally involved in the science and development of Doc’s Wildlife Blends.
Doctor Jones and I originally had a vision of having “The mind of a Physician and the Heart of a Bow Hunter”. Doc’s Wildlife Blends was our mechanism to share our scientific background, medical expertise and passion for wildlife nutrition and hunting experience with friends and family.
By combining forces with Aurora Cooperative, Doc’s Wildlife Blends has added the experience, knowledge and expertise of an entire agricultural corporation. By combining our scientific and medical training with Aurora Coop’s agricultural and agronomy expertise (including minerals, feeds, herbicides, soil testing, and fertilizers) we have created the highest quality minerals, feeds and food plots in the wildlife industry.
